Photographer’s Rights

The photographer reserves the right to use the images for self-promotion, including but not limited to:

• Portfolio

• Website

• Social media

• Exhibitions

• Competitions

• Other marketing materials

Unless otherwise agreed in writing with the client.

Client’s Usage Rights

Upon full payment, the client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the delivered images for the following:

• Websites and social media

• Presentations and internal communications

• Advertisements and newsletters

• Printed materials, such as brochures and posters

• Editorial use in blogs, news articles, and magazines related to the client’s business

You will receive two versions of each image:

• Web-resolution (Web) for online use

• High-resolution (HQ) for print purposes

This license does not allow resale, sublicensing, or use in commercial products (e.g., books, merchandise) unless specifically agreed upon in writing.

 

Credit Requirement

When publishing or sharing images, the following credit must be clearly displayed:

If proper credit is not given, a fee of 2,000 NOK per image per instance will be charged.

Publication Use

Images may be published in newspapers or magazines that promote the client’s work, as long as:

• The photographer is contacted in advance

• Images are properly credited

• A copy of the publication (digital or physical) is sent to the photographer

Educational Use

Students may use the images in school projects free of charge, provided that they give proper credit.

Any institutional or public educational use beyond classroom projects must receive prior written approval.

Editing and Adjustments

You may make minor crops or resizing for layout purposes.
However, it is strictly prohibited to:

• Alter colors

• Add filters

• Remove elements

• Apply AI-generated modifications

All additional edits must be approved in writing by the photographer.

Redistribution and Resale

Redistribution, resale, or sublicensing of any image to a third party is not allowed without written consent from the photographer.

License Duration and Scope

The granted license is valid indefinitely for approved uses and applies worldwide, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Violations and Enforcement

Breach of these terms may result in:

• Termination of license

• Legal action

• Claims for financial compensation
